FutureAngels.com Trading Cards were produced after the 2001 and 2002 minor league seasons. Featuring six players each from the Angels' five minor league affiliates, only 1,000 of these sets were produced. These cards have a high collectible value; individual cards for some of the players have sold for up to $25 each on eBay.

The card sets are the perfect gift for an Angels fan. For the holidays, they make great stocking stuffers.

Who's in the Card Sets

Both card sets feature players in the major leagues today. Each card set contains cards for thirty players:

Casey and Tom Kotchman The 2001 card set includes the only trading card in existence with both first baseman Casey Kotchman and his father Tom Kotchman, the most successful manager in the minor leagues. Tom managed Casey with the Provo Angels that year. Other players in the 2001 set who went on the major leagues include Alfredo Amezaga, Chris Bootcheck, Jeff DaVanon, Brendan Donnelly, Steve Green, Gary Johnson, John Lackey, Jeff Mathis, Bart Miadich, Robb Quinlan, Francisco Rodriguez, Scot Shields, Matt Wise, and Jake Woods.

The 2002 card set include several players who were a part of the Angels' World Series championship that year. It also includes two cards for Francisco Rodriguez, who played for both Arkansas and Salt Lake that year before reaching Anaheim in September. Other players in the 2002 set who went on to the major leagues include Erick Aybar, Chris Bootcheck, Alberto Callaspo, Brendan Donnelly, Chone Figgins, Nathan Haynes, Bobby Jenks, Casey Kotchman, John Lackey, Jeff Mathis, Dallas McPherson, Jose Molina, Robb Quinlan, Joe Saunders, Steven Shell, and Derrick Turnbow. There's also a card for Quan Cosby, who left baseball and is now a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.

How to Order

These card sets originally sold for $12.00 each. Individual cards have been known to sell for as high as $25.00 each on eBay.
