Top 10 Angels Minor League Career Records

This page lists the Top 10 players for Angels minor leaguers in career statistics.

This is a work in progress. The database currently holds only offense records for the 1961-1965 seasons, along with one player (Darrell Darrow) from the 1970s due to a separate research project.

As more records are added, the page will automatically update itself. The next objective is to enter pitching records for the 1961-1965 seasons, and then fielding records.

Keep in mind that career leaders in some categories may be due to their having a lengthy minor league career. The statistical average categories (AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS) were arbitrarily defined as a minimum of 1,000 at-bats, which is about two complete minor league seasons. A top prospect might reach the majors with less than 1,000 at-bats and therefore not appear in these categories. A limited minor league career might also keep a top prospect from leading in categories such as career homers or stolen bases.

In short ... remember that context is everything when looking at statistics.
